At the heart of our year is one unforgettable Saturday at Leah Chase School — a community feast from New Orleans' most beloved kitchens, a headline speaker, student performances, and a neighborhood clean-up. It takes a small army of volunteers to set the table, serve the food, run the day, and leave the block more beautiful than we found it.

Spend an hour a week in the Tutoring Lab reading with a young learner. No teaching degree required — just patience, kindness, and a good story voice.
